Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how rebyte.ai ("Rebyte," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our websites, applications, Agent Computers, APIs, integrations, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

Account and organization information

  • Contact details, profile information, authentication identifiers, and account preferences
  • Organization membership, roles, invitations, and administrative settings
  • Subscription, credit, usage, and transaction records; payment card details are handled by our payment processor

Content and instructions

  • Agent configurations, skills, task history, tool calls, outputs, artifacts, and feedback
  • Repository, data source, and connector content that you direct the Service to access or modify

Connected services

When you connect a third-party service, we receive authorization credentials, account metadata, and the content needed to perform the actions you request. The information available to Rebyte depends on the permissions you grant and the third party's settings.

Usage and device information

  • IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps, and diagnostic logs
  • Features used, pages viewed, interactions, task status, performance, and error information
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics

How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service
  • Execute your tasks, maintain task context, and deliver messages, files, and artifacts
  • Authenticate users, administer organizations, enforce permissions, and prevent abuse
  • Connect to third-party services and take actions you or your authorized agents request
  • Measure usage, calculate charges, process payments, and manage subscriptions and credits
  • Communicate about the Service, including support, security, and product notices

AI Models and Automated Processing

The Service sends information needed to complete a task to the model provider selected by you, your organization, or the applicable Agent. Depending on your configuration, providers may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Moonshot AI, OpenRouter, or other providers displayed in the Service. Information sent may include prompts, conversation context, files, code, tool results, and instructions.

A provider processes that information under its own terms and privacy practices and, where applicable, our agreement with that provider. If you use your own API key or subscription, your relationship with that provider also governs the processing. Provider availability and data-use settings may vary by model, account, and plan.

Connectors, Agent Actions, and Shared Workspaces

Connectors let Agents access and act in services such as source-control, productivity, communication, and data platforms. A connector may use a personal credential or an organization credential, as shown in the Service. Content an Agent reads from or writes to a connected service may be included in the task record and its outputs.

Tasks, conversations, files, and artifacts follow the visibility of the Agent Computer or workspace in which they are created. Organization administrators may manage members, Agents, connectors, and related content. You should not place personal or confidential information in a shared or public workspace unless you intend it to be available to that audience.

Browser Session Sync

If you use Rebyte's optional browser session sync feature, the extension may access cookies and browser storage for a domain you select and transfer that session information to the remote browser in your Rebyte workspace. The feature runs only when you initiate a sync. Session information is sensitive; use this feature only with accounts and domains you are authorized to access, and review the destination workspace's sharing settings before syncing.

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information:

  • To model providers and connected services as needed to perform your instructions
  • To vendors that provide hosting, authentication, analytics, error monitoring, payment, communication, and support services
  • To members and administrators of your organization according to workspace permissions
  • When you publish, share, or direct us to send content to another person or service
  • To comply with law, legal process, or valid government requests
  • To protect rights, safety, security, and the integrity of the Service
  • In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards

We do not sell personal information for money.

Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, protect the Service, understand usage, and evaluate our communications. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling required cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account, credentials, connected services, and workspace sharing settings.

Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security and business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information, account settings, and applicable requirements. You may delete certain content in the Service or request account deletion by contacting us. Backups and records required for security, fraud prevention, billing, or law may remain for a limited period.

Your Choices and Rights

You may update account information, manage connectors and workspace visibility, and control certain communications through the Service. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or restriction of certain processing. We may need to verify your identity and may be unable to fulfill a request where an exception applies.

International Processing

Rebyte and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children

The Service is not directed to children, and you may not use it if you are not legally able to agree to these terms. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated policy on this page, revise the date above, and provide additional notice when appropriate.
